Why Volunteer?
Colossians 3:23–24 (NASB95) Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
Volunteers are essential in making sure our church is as effective as possible. As a volunteer, you are a vital part of seeing that our church runs smoothly. It is definitely challenging at times because all too often, volunteering goes unrecognized. Volunteers must be willing to humbly serve Christ and their brothers and sisters without ever expecting to shine in the spotlight.
Volunteering is also essential in helping you grow closer to others who are grounded in the church and helps you connect with the church body, as you begin to learn more about the people that you work alongside.
What Can I Do?
Volunteer Needs
We continually have needs within the church such as serving in the nursery, driving the van, or being a ride-along to assist so the driver can keep his or her attention on the road.
For seasonal requirements, we need help with the grounds, especially in the spring, summer and fall. Below you will find a link to our volunteer page at iVolunteer.com.
